ELE Mobile Services started the way most good shops do — one mechanic, one fully loaded van, and a phone that kept ringing. After years in fixed bays around North York and Etobicoke, the decision was simple: the car doesn't need to come to the shop. The shop can come to the car.
Today we run service calls across Etobicoke, North York, Rexdale, Weston, Humber Bay and the west end of Toronto. Most jobs — brakes, batteries, alternators, starters, oil and filter, check-engine diagnostics — are finished in a single visit, in your driveway, condo garage or workplace parking lot. You get a plain-English explanation of what's wrong, a price before we start, and the old parts left in a box for you to look at.
We're a small operation on purpose. When you call, you're talking to the person who will be standing in front of your car. No call centre, no service advisor, no "we'll have to take a look and get back to you."
Check-engine lights, misfires, rough idle
Full OBD-II scan plus live data, not just a code read. We trace the fault to the actual component — coil, sensor, vacuum leak, wiring — and quote the fix before touching a bolt. If the code is something a dealer needs to handle, we'll tell you straight instead of selling you a job we can't finish.
Pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid
Grinding, pulsing pedal, or a car that pulls when you stop. We measure pad and rotor thickness in front of you, show you the numbers, and replace only what's worn past spec. Ceramic and semi-metallic pads in stock for most domestic and Japanese models.
Electrical gremlins and no-start calls
Parasitic draws, dead dash lights, intermittent no-cranks, warning lamps that come and go. We bring a multimeter, a scope and patience. Winter no-starts in Etobicoke are usually battery, starter or ground strap — we carry all three.
Tested, replaced and disposed of properly
We load-test the battery and check the alternator output before selling you anything. If it's a terminal cleaning and a charge, that's what you pay for. If it's a new battery, we install it on the spot, register it where the car needs it, and take the old one away for recycling.
Oil, filters, fluids, seasonal prep
Full synthetic oil and filter changes, cabin and engine air filters, coolant and transmission fluid top-ups, plus a winter readiness check before the first hard freeze. Done in your driveway in under an hour, with the service reset cleared on your dash.
Before you hand over the cash
Buying used in the GTA? We meet you at the seller's address, put the car on ramps, and go through it properly — rust, frame, leaks, brakes, suspension, codes, and a road test. You get a written summary the same day, and a straight answer on whether to walk away.

We confirm a window
You get a two-hour arrival window, not a whole day. Most weekdays we can be there the same day; evenings until 9 PM and Saturday mornings are available if that's easier.

Fixed on site, price agreed first
We diagnose, explain, and give you the number before we start. Payment by card, e-transfer or cash when the job's done. Old parts stay with you.
